At the Jamaica Estates Association (JEA) meeting held on Monday, June 16th, a summary report of the meeting held with representatives of the JEA and the Reverend Donald Harrington, President of St. John's University, was offered. The presentation revealed that only peripheral issues were discussed dealing with concerns after the dormitory is completed.
The Jamaica Estates Association's discussions and capitulation on this issue are diametrically opposite the position of the Concerned Residents of Jamaica Estates. We continue to call for St. John's to abandon this misguided invasion of our peaceful community.
